A management institute in Canada is reportedly offering Bollywood Acting Course headed by an instructor who claims to have trained the likes of Hrithhik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan and Priyanka Chopra .
Canadian Institute of Management and Technology in Mississauga (Ontario) is said to be giving this 16-week course to be taught by a team of "industry professionals".
With English proficiency as pre-requisite, it will instruct students in subjects such as dance, body language, action, diction and improvisation, memory and voice styling, yoga, etc. costing 9,000 dollars with additional 500 dollars for books. Graduates will receive Bollywood Acting Diploma.

Om Puri has revealed that he plays a "terrorist mastermind" in Rensil D’Silva’s Kurbaan.
Puri also declared that he is confident that audiences would be able to distinguish between his on-screen persona and real life.
"I’m aware of the repercussions. I’m also aware other actors turn down parts of terrorists. But I’ve no such reservations.
"We cannot be moral and judgmental about the characters we play. In Kurbaan I play the terror mastermind, a fully committed jehaadi who is ready to sacrifice everything including his wife (Kirron Kher) for the cause."
Kurbaan, which is scheduled for release on November 27, also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor .

"I will do a film only
when the right script comes along.
David (Dhawan) is working on a script keeping me in mind, and I may do the film once the script is ready," Karishma Kapoor said.
The actress, who starred in several David Dhawan hits like `Hero No 1`, `Hasina Maan Jayegi`, `Raja Babu` and `Biwi No 1`, said that she will return to the silver screen only if she gets a good script.
Karishma is married to Delhi-based industrialist Sanjay Kapur and has a daughter with him.

Kareena Kapoor had always expressed her desire to work with Aamir Khan and when it finally happened with Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, her delight knew no bounds. But probably she had never bargained that she would have to forgo her birthday celebrations not once but twice.
Last year, during Kareena’s birthday, the unit of 3 Idiots was shooting in Ladakh and Kareena was very much part of that schedule. Come this year, same time, and the final schedule of 3 Idiots was set to begin on her birthday. However, being a true professional, not once did Kareena make a hue and cry of it. In fact, all the hue and cry was made by the media.
This time, however, Aamir stepped in and gave Kareena a lovely birthday present. The actor is believed to have requested Hirani to postpone the final schedule by a few days so that Bebo can ring in her birthday with her loved ones. The shooting for the final leg of the film will now begin on September 25 and not today as it was meant to. The film is more or less complete, according to sources.
There is just one final romantic song which remains to be picturised on Aamir and Kareena, with the other members of the cast like Boman Irani, R Madhavana and Sharman Joshi set to make brief appearances in the number. The schedule is expected to last till October 2, after which the film will go into post production.
It is being readied for a December 25 release and Aamir was reportedly very keen to wrap up the shooting as soon as possible so that there was ample time to prepare for its release. An earlier schedule of the film had also been postponed as Aamir took a break with his wife Kiran, after her miscarriage. But now he is back in town and keen to get back to work as soon as possible. As for Kareena, she couldn’t have probably got a better gift than the one Aamir and Hirani have given her this year.

Sanjay Dutt has agreed to share the screen with director Vashu Bhagnani’s son in Faltu.
Dutt will work alongside Jackky Bhagnani, who saw his debut Kal Kissne Dekha flop at the box office earlier this year.
Describing the film, Vashu told IANS: "It’s about the failure of today’s educational system to guide our youngsters into suitable careers.
"It’s about how there’s too much stress in and on academics and too little on actually tapping every child’s potential."
Dutt recently suggested that he is interested in purchasing an Indian Premier League franchise.

Do Knot Disturb star Govinda has insisted that he does not mind being stereotyped as a comedian.
Govinda believes that being associated with one genre allows fans to know what to expect from his films.
The 45-year-old told PTI: "I don’t mind any tag, if it brings me success. And why would I have a problem with being called a comedian? It has made me successful. I am known as a comic actor by my audience."

Vasu had narrated the outline of his Kannada project ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ to our superstar. ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ is the sequel of ‘Aptha Mithra’ (Chandramukhi in Tamil). After hearing the outline itself it’s heard that Rajini appreciated the director for the fine script. But just don’t jump into a conclusion that our Superstar will be signing up for ‘Chandramukhi’ part 2!

Despite being so talented, the actor has been guilty of taking his success for granted and he has paid a heavy price for that. Like a gentle speed breaker on a curving road, that’s how the little bump on Karisma Kapoor’s otherwise toned abs looked when she was seen on Wednesday afternoon at a suburban five star hotel.
The gossip mongers who saw the stunning Bollywood diva sexily carrying her baby bump whispered aloud that Mrs. Kapur is pregnant again. It can be said that apart from a reality show the actress has been preferring to keep a low profile so that she can easily manage her pregnancy.
A source close to the family confirms the reports that Karisma is having her second child. The actress, who is married to the Delhi businessman Sanjay Kapur also has a daughter Samaira. The source says that Lolo’s younger sister Kareena is extremely thrilled with the idea of becoming an aunt for the second time. Karisma is now in her first trimester.
On being contacted, Kareena refused to comment however, father Randhir Kapoor who is currently in Russia said that he has no idea if Karisma is pregnant or no. But he later added that he would be very happy if the reports are true.

The same song has been turned into a group number and is being shot with Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Katrina Kaif and, of course,Zyed in the film by Tony D’Souza.
“I’m learning my lessons the hard way. In this industry it’s always the big fish eating up the little fish (an apt description considering our film ‘Blue ’ is an underwater sea adventure). Fine. Hopefully, one day I’ll get there,” said Zayed, who is shooting in Delhi for “Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene”.
“But when I do I can assure I won’t behave the same way. But no more being taken for granted. I can’t afford it,” he added.
As for not participating in the number, he said: “I was thinking of not participating in the shooting. If I am not considered important enough, no point in hanging around. But then I decided to be professional about this. I’m flying from Delhi to Mumbai for the song.”
Zayed, however, absolves the “Blue” director of all blame.
D’Souza says, “Yes, we’re shooting a song with the entire cast next week. I’d really like Zayed to be part of it. Because he’s a very important and pivotal part of ‘Blue’. This film will take him to another level.”

The model-actress says she is quite adventurous, unlike the goody-goody image she has. “You don’t get too many opportunities like this. Everyone thought I was delicate and wouldn’t be able to perform the stunts, so I wanted to change that perception about me. Convincing my family was the only issue but they also agreed.”
What was the most difficult stunt to do? “The stunt on a plane really scared me. I had to walk from one wing of the plane to the other, with the help of a rope. I wasn’t sure I would be able to take control of the situation. I had first thought it wouldn’t be that difficult but the wind made it tough to hold. I thought I was going to lose my balance when the plane was thousands of feet in the sky. I was petrified.”
Like her co-contestants, Nauheed too is all praise for host Akshay Kumar. “Akshay is stunning; he is fit, physically and mentally. I had heard that he was fabulous, and after being with him on the show, I am convinced there could be no better host than him. He’s also witty and approachable off-screen. He gave us all funny weird nicknames - I was Nani, Carol was Kaushalya, Shonali was Shastriji, and so on.”

Sameera Reddy dressed in a white dhoti and stone studded blouse stole the show with her showstopper act for Neeta Lulla while Dia Mirza dressed in A-line baby pink dress looked apt for Nishka’s theme, Innocence.
Speaking about Nishka’s collection Dia said, “I loved this girly innocent look that Nishka has designed for me. I feel 10 years younger than my age. This was Nishka’s first show and I must say that she has done a great job.”

Bollywood hunk John Abraham , who is famous for his passion for biking, has no desire to settle down soon as the actor believes that he is already married to his bikes.
Abraham says that he will think about marrying a girl only after he adds four more bikes to his collection.
"I love motorcycles, I am married to them and I have had a honeymoon period with them. I don’t let anyone sit on my
bikes or touch them," the actor said.
The 36-year-old actor is so protective of his bikes that even his girlfriend of seven years actress Bipasha Basu doesn’t like to sit on them.
"Bipasha doesn’t like sitting behind me on bikes as I keep complaining about the bike getting scratched or damaged," said the actor, who has been chosen the brand ambassador for Yamaha Motor in India.
The actor, who made a whole new statement in Bollywood with his biking acts in action-oriented movie like Dhoom, was in the capital to launch new bike models from Yamaha.
Abraham also recalled his first encounter with a bike.
"I first saw my brother’s bike when I was a 11-year-old kid. I fell in love with it right then, but my brother never
let me touch his bike," said the actor.
He also urged enthusiasts to go for safe biking and take precautionary measures.
"I have had many bike accidents and in a busy city one has to be very careful while riding. I use different helmets for different days as they are important for your safety," the actor said.

Salman Khan has claimed that he is "100%" confident that Wanted will be a hit with audiences as he strives to bounce back from a string of box office flops.
The 43-year-old revealed that he had absolute faith in the film’s script as soon as he read it for the first time.
He told AFP: "It has all the ingredients of a Bollywood potboiler. When I read the script, I was 100% [sure] that it will click."

Director N Chandra has revealed that he plans to approach Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor to star in his next project.
However, Chandra said that he is concerned the pair may turn down the leading roles in Fire & Ice because of his lack of recent commercial success.
He told: "I thought the doors would re-open for me after Yeh Mera India . But sadly, not too many people saw it.
"There is a belief that I haven’t kept up with the times, that I’m a spent force. I may have made Ankush, Pratighaat and Tezaab in the past. But that was then. I don’t follow contemporary cinema’s language. I made Yeh Mera India in a very contemporary European style."

Katrina Kaif doesn’t believe in half-measures. It comes as no surprise to know that she intends to start her own website after months of research, preparation and build-up before the internet’s most ‘hit’ girl delves deeply into her own domain.
The actual launch will be by the end of the year. “I don’t want this to be something I start and then leave to others to take care of. Of course, there will be professional employed to oversee my website. But I’ll picking and choosing all the material and pictures that go into it.”
Katrina’s website is to be called katrinakaifofficial.com, and is being launched with maximum care. Katrina wants it to be one-stop all-purpose Katrina Kaif stopover for all fans on the net. Other websites using her pictures and quotes without proper consent would have to face legal consequences.
Considering she’s the most searched and googled Bollywood actress, surely telescoping and restricting the inflow of information and pictures would be tough.
Says Katrina, “My website will be comprehensive. It will have my exclusive pictures. In fact I’ll be doing photo sessions done specially by me. It will also have pictures taken by me on my sets and on location.”
What Katrina’s website won’t have is accounts and reports on her day-to-day activities. “I don’t think it’s cool to let people know where I am, or what I’m doing throughout the day. I’m not on any of the social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. I guess my life is not an open Facebook,” she puns.
The design colors and format for her website are ready. “I looked at several designs presented to me. Then I saw a British actress’ website, which I quite liked though it was too dark for my personality. My website will be fun, feisty, bubbly and colorful, to go with my image.”
Katrina’s website has been designed by her sister’s boyfriend and two professional designers from Great Britain. “There’s nothing haphazard and everything is official about it,” she chuckles.

It was reported that Salman and Shahid never shared good vibes with each other. Apparently, their antagonism grew more during the Rockstar tour three years ago. Hence when Salman agreed to invite the Kapoor on his game show, it shocked everyone. However, all did not seem as was thought of. Engagement and marriage had resulted Ayesha Takia disappearing from the silver screen. The girl had put on a lot of cute fat and was also missing due to her month long honeymoon. Now, she is back with a bang, all lean, fit and fine with her hair colored blonde.
Cute as she is, marriage has resulted in Ayesha glowing with pride, joy and excitement. Her first release after marriage would be ‘Wanted’ where she pairs opposite Salman Khan and after that she plans to work on Revathy Sharma’s ‘Phir Tum Mil Gaye’.
Where many aspiring, and even some established, Bollywood actresses are resorting to skin show to get roles in films but Ayesha Takia is still quite strong in her policy that she will not do any skin show and titillating scenes that enact sexual intimacy on screen.

Even though Priyanka Chopra admits that WHAT’S YOUR RAASHEE is one of the toughest films that she has done in her career so far, she heaves a sigh of relief that at least there were lesser costume changes involved in this Ashutosh Gowariker film when compared to Madhur Bhandarkar FASHION.
"Now that was one grueling and memorable experience that I had", remembers Priyanka who was required to walk the ramp a dozen of times in FASHION, "I guess there were close to 130 costume changes that I had to make in the film. In practically every scene I had to wear different clothes and when it came to ramp, there were some split second changes required as well. It was really hard work to spend so much time to get into the right costume for a shot that lasted barely a few seconds."
Comparatively, WHAT’S YOUR RAASHEE was an easier affair even though she is playing 12 characters in the film.
"That’s because most of these characters have their entire screen time in one go itself and last for like 10-15 minutes with a song and some dialogues", explains Priyanka, "I am seen in one or at maximum two costumes per character as Harman (Baweja) meets 12 different prospective brides. Of course this came with its own challenges since we had to make sure that that every single costume which I wear goes perfectly well with the character and makes an impact in that limited screen time. Overall I must have worn around 20 odd costumes in WHAT’S YOUR RAASHEE?"
Boasting of some fantastic music by Sohail Sen, the film is releasing all over on 25th September.

For those still not tired of films about gun-toting goons, tobacco-chewing gangsters, power-hungry politicians, humourless encounter specialists and, most importantly, corrupt cops, here’s another addition to the genre - Baabarr.
The film begins as the journey of a young boy into the crime-infested world of a small town in Uttar Pradesh but soon becomes a gore-fest as the dead bodies pile up faster than you can keep the count. Director Ashuu Trikha attempts to jolt a viewer repeatedly with the blood-curdling depiction of violence, but that’s not what necessarily makes a good crime thriller.
When a boy commits his first murder at the age of 12, you can very well imagine what he will grow up to be - an extortionist and a killer. Even before his teenage Baabarr’s life takes a definitive direction into the world of crime, where rival gangsters gun for each other, corrupt cops are hand in glove with criminals whom politicians use for their own mileage.
As the strapping young man Baabarr (newcomer Soham Shah (1)) spreads his reign of crime and terror, the state shakes up from slumber and ropes in a stern-faced, no-nonsense encounter specialist (Mithun Chakraborty) to capture the most wanted Baabarr, dead or alive.
Thereon, the movie becomes a cat-and-mouse game between Baabarr and the cops who are forever on his tail without being able to snare him. The director throws in a few twists and turns in the later reels of the second half to apparently keep the audience from leaving the hall before the end credits.

Mira has always appreciated Vishal’s style of filmmaking and in fact the boxoffice hit Kaminey was inspired from a Cajetan boy, who Vishal met during Mira’s overseas writing workshop. Monsoon Wedding was not only appreciated in India, but is an internationally acclaimed film which even 10 years after its release doesn’t stop making news. The film defined contemporary hindi cinema and Vishal has already dived head-first in the composition of its Broadway musical debut.
A source close to the director’s revealed, “It’s no secret that Mira admires Vishal’s work, both in terms of music and filmmaking. When the Broadway version of Monsoon Wedding fell into place, she immediately thought of Vishal to compose the music. She was blown away by the eccentric music of Kaminey, considering Vishal not only composed but also sang most of the songs for the film. She knew he was perfect for the job and at the moment Vishal has already began composing tracks for the play.”
We couldn’t have agreed with Mira any more about the fact that Vishal’s unique vision of filmmaking and music is like no other and truly deserves International recognition. The one-man army when teamed up with the talent Mira is bound to create history. Rahman has paved the way and Vishal only has to tread it!

Megan Fox , who’s been voted the ‘sexiest woman alive’ for two years in a row, is set to take on a challenging movie role opposite this year’s Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke.
The duo will team up for a new film titled ’Passion Play’ in which Megan will play a woman who has wings. Megan’s character will be controlled by an evil gangster.
“I’m doing a movie called ‘Passion Play’ with Mickey Rourke. There is a love story there, it’s clearly not going to be a typical one,” the Daily Express quoted Fox as saying.
The movie will be directed by screenwriter Mitch Glazer who has also written the script. The love story will be between Megan and Rourke’s character who rescues the winged beauty.
Speaking more about her role in the film, Megan added: “My character is basically a circus freak, she lives in a cage and she has wings. She’s not an angel, but she has these giant wings that grow out of her back. She’s a freak and she’s on display.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Transformers’ star has vowed never to make a sex tape.
“That’s the last thing I want to see - what I look like having sex. It would take one shot of me not looking good and I would not be able to have sex ever again,” MTV online quoted the 23-year-old hottie as saying.

The latest buzz in the tele land is over a Yogi baba participating in the reality show. Yes we are talking about Swami Ramdev who is speculated to be a part of the Bigg Boss Season 3.
“The channel and the production house are in the talks with Baba Ramdev but nothing, as of now is confirmed,” chirps our khabroo.
Elaborating more on the reason for taking him in this reality show, our source adds, “He is a famous person and has been in news with these glam dolls recently on a news channel, and has raised many eyebrows.

Michael Adams who is one of the editors of Empire, said to be the largest selling film magazines of America, has singled out a Bollywood film for the first time for mention.
Writing on the Blue trailer in his column called Schlock and Awe, Adams says, “Its Bollywood. It’s Fast and Furious, It’s Deep Blue Sea, and It’s Chicago. It’s explode-y, bite-y, and dance-y and rather brilliant…”
Director Tony D’Souza who will head to Hollywood later this month to the Warner Brothers studios for the mixing of Blue is over the moon. “Michael Adams is like the last word in Hollywood opinion. Blue is the first film to be mentioned in his column.”
And now the one-stop showbiz media mecca Empire has invited Blue to be featured in their magazine.
“Yes Empire magazine will be featuring Blue. It’s a singular honor. And I’m thrilled,” says Tony.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is riding on the success of "Kaminey", has pledged her support to a fund raising project started by international fashion brand Bulgari, which is celebrating its 125 years, for the defence of
children’s rights.
"It goes without saying that children are our future and we need to do whatever it takes to ensure that they have a chance for a better future by educating them and protecting their rights. I’m very proud to be a part of this initiative. I firmly believe that every little step we take will make a difference in the long run," Priyanka said in a press release.
Bulgari, an Italian company, has chosen to support the "Rewrite the Future" campaign started by Save the Children, an independent international organisation that works for children’s rights and has its presence in around 100 countries.
Internationally, this campaign is being supported by noted celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Mischa Barton, Terrance Howard and Julianne Moore, among others.
Bulgari has introduced a silver ring specially created for the campaign and has Save the Children logo engraved inside. It costs Rs.20,100 and was flashed by Priyanka at a press conference in Mumbai Monday.
The "Rewrite the Future" campaign by Save the Children is aimed at providing quality education by 2010 to eight million children living in conflict-affected areas.

Like silver lining, the news of another Hollywood project to Azhar Ismail’s family came as a blessing. The child actor of ‘Slumdog Millionaire (SM)’ Azhar Ismail had lost his father recently, owing to tuberculosis.
Now the kid has been approached by the makers of an international movie, titled ’Lord Owen’s Lady’. Along with Azhar, his SM co-star, Rubina Ali too has been signed on. The film is based on a Welsh nobleman who falls in love with an Indian girl and sources say that well-known actor Sir Anthony Hopkins would be a part of this one. The movie is going to be shot in Wales and India.
On learning about his father’s demise, Martin Pennell the Executive Producer conveyed his condolence to Azhar and hoped this incident wouldn’t mar the child’s Hollywood career.

Preity Zinta is the latest one to join the item-girl brigade as she shakes her leg for Sohail Khan’s production Main Aur Mrs Khanna.
A source said, "Preity was made to travel to Dubai for a single day shoot of the song Happening. The production team had to spend a fortune on that single day outdoor shoot for Preity as director Prem Soni required a huge open air theater for the song which they managed to get in Dubai."
"When Preity and director Prem Soni were thinking who could choreograph the song, they could only think of Farah Khan. Preity was very keen that Farah choreographed the song and Prem Soni always wanted to work with her", adds a source
A unit member said, "Preity had a ten day rehearsal with Farah Khan before she started shooting the song. Everyday she would reherse for 3 hours. She also was on a special diet and hardcore workout and yoga and swimming sessions.
Says Preity Zinta, “It’s an interesting cameo. The song’s called Happening and I agreed to do it because director Prem Soni is a friend. And since Salman has played Prem so often, let’s just say this one is for Prem.”

New Delhi, He might be known as the Bollywood brat, but it looks like Salman Khan is now trying to turn a new leaf. He says he is trying to quit smoking.
Asked about the habit that is hard to kick, he said: “I’m trying to (quit smoking)… Smoking is something people start to either enter a social circle or to show off.”
But he does have a word of advice for others trying to quit cigarettes too.
“Once you quit, there are also chances of picking it up again because when you find people around you smoking, you join them to be with them. But it slowly and slowly kills you and people stop only when they are advised by the doctor. So everyone should quit it before reaching that stage,” Salman said.

Mumbai, After the craze for owning a Twenty 20 team, now the game’s T-10 format, called Gully Cricket, has started attracting celebrities. Actress Divya Dutta has become the first proud owner of the Ludhiana team.
Divya bought the Ludhiana Gully Cricket team Saturday for season two that will kick-start Sep 19 and end in a grand finale at Kanpur Nov 20, a spokesperson said here Sunday.
It will be played amongst 896 players from 64 teams in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Panchkula, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Patna, Gwalior, Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Surat, Nashik, Latur and Daman and will be telecast live on DD Sports Channel.
Divya, who is from Ludhiana, will patronise the team and be responsible for marketing and promoting it nationally. She will also be involved in activities like grooming the players, cheering them and sponsorships for the team.
“I am thrilled to be an owner of this team and will do my best for them. The T-10 format has enabled bringing out some of the best youngsters from all over the country. There are some very good players who play in the back alleys of our country and it is time their talent is showcased before the country,” Divya said.
Reasonable Communications Pvt Ltd director Anoop Wadhwa, one of the organisers of the Gully Cricket, said that apart from Divya, they would ’sell’ the 16 city teams across different states to other sponsors and celebrities to further popularise it.
Film actor Riteish Deshmukh is the brand ambassador of the event, the first season of which was completed in January-February 2009.
The spokesperson said that T-10 is played for 10 overs by each team. It is not open to any established players, but only the real gully players in small cities or far flung towns around the country.
T-10 format is not officially sanctioned by the Indian cricket board.

Bhopal: Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif may insist that she takes professional decisions independent of boyfriend, superstar Salman Khan, but it is clear that his
opinion matters as she has declared that she will not work with Vivek Oberoi.
"I would not work with Vivek anyway," the 25-year-old actress told reporters when asked about the actor, who had a head line grabbing public feud with Salman in 2003.
Oberoi had alleged in a press conference that the 43-year-old actor harassed him and sent him death threats, over his relationship with Salman`s ex-girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai.
However, Katrina hurriedly added that she takes her own decisions and denied that they were influenced by Salman.
The actress whose recent movie `New York` was well-received by the audience and critics alike, thanked God and people who supported her for the success she has achieved.
