Abhi Says that “I didn’t want to rush into anything

Neeraj Pandey, the director of A Wednesday won acclaim for making a gripping thriller and extracting terrific performances from Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah. But that was back in 2008. Since then, the director has not made another film. Neeraj does not even have a single directorial venture on the floors nor has he started shooting.

Ask the filmmaker why and he explains: “I didn’t want to rush into anything. Also, I’m a slow person. I had many offers but those projects didn’t excite me.” So what had happened to the project Special Chabbis that Neeraj was reportedly working on? He replies, “We will start filming this project in December. It is based on an incident when 26 men, posing as Income Tax officials, carried out a mock raid on a leading jewellery store in Mumbai and jewellery worth millions were ‘seized’ and never returned.” There were rumours that Abhishek Bachchan would star in Special Chabbis but Neeraj clarifies, “Abhishek is not in the film. We were in talks but things didn’t work out. He had not been confirmed for the film, but the news was blown out of proportion.”

Abhishek Bachan fall in love with his wifey again

Aishwarya Rai has been shooting non-stop for the last few months, and the effects of her gruelling schedule started to show on her, making her look dull.

So one day, Ash took a break from her shooting and headed to a luxurious spa in Mumbai, which offers treatment with herbal and natural products loved by Aishwarya.

So when Aishwarya went to the sets of Raavan next day, Abhi couldn’t stop staring at his wife and same goes for all others present on the sets.

Apparently Abhi loves Ash’s peaches and plum skin and the spa treatment has made Abhi fall in love with his wifey again.

Abhishek Bachchan kept his promise to friend Rohan Sippy

Abhishek Bachchan kept his promise to friend Rohan Sippy and T-Series by giving his nod to Rohan helmed thriller, co-produced by Rohan’s home production and T-Series.

This will be the third film together for pals Abhishek and Rohan after Kuch Na Kaho (2003) and Bluffmaster (2005).

"Both Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan were committed to a film with T-Series. Back then, Priyadarshan was supposed to make the film, however T-Series went ahead with Bhool Bhulaiya. After that, Amitabh too opted out as his dates were blocked. However, Abhishek has kept his word and now that Rohan Sippy is ready with his untitled thriller, talks are on to make it a joint production," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Without delving into too many details, Rohan Sippy confirmed that Abhishek is the lead in his new thriller.

"Yes, we are set to start the film in December end or January. Everything is locked and we are in the process of finalizing the ensemble cast...Pritam is the music director," said the young director.

Abhishek, 33, is currently filming for Mani Ratnam’s much delayed Raavan, which additionally stars wife Aishwarya Rai, Govinda, Vikram and Nikhil Dwivedi.

Like Aishwarya, who is juggling between three projects simultaneously - Raavan (Hindi and Tamil), Guzaarish and Action Replay - Abhishek is likely to be between two projects as his next, Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey with co-star Asin, goes on floors in end November.

Abhishek will be next seen in his home production, Paa with father Amitabh Bachchan , Vidya Balan and Harman Baweja. The film is due for release on December 4.
