Violetta Villas (1938) onced called 'the Polish Yma Sumac', is an International singer and very acclaimed and idolized in Europe. She was the first star to perform at the new Casino De Paris, at the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas (1966-69). She is well known for her alluring over the top style and vibrant personality. Today her trademark mane of long hair and amazing five octave vocal range, still brings the crowds to see her concerts. Miss Villas is a particularly wonderful and 'camp' performer.... at her peak her act was very sex kittenish, and often resembled Jayne Mansfield's cooing. But don't underestimate her ability as a performer....she has the voice to knock everyone else out of the water. Early on she developed a unique and exceptional style of her own, that makes her to this day always fascinating to watch.
