Khatta Meetha’ is releasing on 23 July

origina1

‘Khatta Meetha’ recently ran into trouble when the censor board raised objections to a scene in the film where an Elephant is shown pulling a road roller.

The scene has been described as depicting cruelty to animals.

Due to the short notice of the objections and the release date just around the corner the director could not delete the scene but decided to take corrective measures.

The film which is a remake of a Malyalam film is directed by Priyadarshan and stars south siren Trisha Krishnan who is making her bollywood debut and Akshay Kumar who is also the producer of the film.

The film tells the story of an honest road contractor who learns the hard way that how integrated is bribery in the systems and is then moulded into that mould himself.
