Ranbir Kapoor is not a person that really regrets anything including his films that failed. Take Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year for example. He admits that the failure confused him because he really believed in it but yet he says he would make a Rocket Singh every year if he could.
But one regret he does have is that he didn’t travel around the country before fame overtook him. “When I was starting out, Aamir Khan had advised me to just pack my bag and travel around India before I became an actor. But unfortunately I didn’t do that and now I understand the value of doing so.”
Maybe that’s why he is so fond of Bhopal where he recently stayed for many months while shooting for Raajneeti. This was his first brush with small-town India and it completely captured the born and bred Pali Hill boy.
Maybe that’s also why he so enjoys his late night rides on his Segway and cycle. That’s the only time he can actually be free of star trappings.
