Salman Khan has urged Indians to plant more trees to help guard against climate change.
The actor, who was speaking at the Green World 2010 plant exhibition in Mumbai, claimed that people who stop growing trees stop growing themselves.
"The land we live in is surrounded by the ocean and that makes us more vulnerable to climate change and global warming ,"as saying.
"Every country should have 33% of forest area but at present India has only 17% of it.
"When you stop growing trees, you stop growing as a human being."
